Trees are planted!
Carbon Offset Scotland would like to extend a big thanks to all those individuals and businesses who have supported their project.
The first batch of 4,000 trees went into the ground on 13th-14th April. In the pictures you will see the planters in action.

The first stage when planting large numbers of trees is to get some mounding done. The mounding that you can see in the photographs will help suppress the bracken growth and enable the trees to take a proper hold.

Stage One of our woodland regeneration project is now underway with 4,000 trees scheduled to go into the ground over the course of the winter. Trees are best planted over the winter months from October through to March when they are not 'in leaf'.
