Balmuick Farm

The location for the project is Balmuick Farm, which is found above the village of Comrie in the Perthshire district of Scotland. The farm's owner is seeking to diversify in a move to help to help the environment and to help sustain the traditional sheep farming lifestyle for him and his family.

Should you wish to visit the project or indeed plant the tree yourself then all you have to do is click here to contact us.

Comrie sits at the confluence of three rivers. The Ruchill and the Lednock are both tributaries of the Earn, which itself eventually feeds into the Tay. The name Comrie is of Gaelic origin and means 'a place where rivers meet'.
